Janathon Day 7: A rest day
Yesterday was a rest day in my training schedule, so for Janathon 2014 I thought I’d share a really helpful ‘how-to’ video I found on YouTube. I came across it when trying to find a way to adapt my Garmin 200 cycle computer for running that didn’t involve me just holding it in my hand. The video shows how to use the supplied GPS mount and a watch strap to make a wrist mount for the cycle computer. It’s a bit bulky, but definitely better than swapping it between palms or shoving it in a pocket. As I’m using heart rate zones in my training, I need to see the monitor, so popping it into a pocket doesn’t work.
